Joanna – Diploma Educator

I am originally from Greece and moved to Australia in 2012. I have a nurturing and fun personality, and ever since I can remember I always wanted to become a teacher. I have been in the education industry for 20 years and have taught from preschoolers to high school students. For the last 9 years my main focus has been on Early Childhood Education. My main interest is in social and emotional development, as I believe it is very important to support children in finding their sense of identity and guiding them to become confident and independent learners. As a parent myself I understand how important it is to have meaningful and trustworthy relationships with the children and their families, and pride myself on the many relationships I have built over the years.
