Celebrating cultural diversity one piece at a time

At Ballykin we celebrate diversity and take great pride in the fact that our families and our team members come from many different cultural backgrounds.

At our Ballykin Mosman centre this week the children worked with Asma to piece together a beautiful 3D map of the world. Asma is a highly experienced educator originally from Bangladesh, who also holds a Degree in Geography.

The children were able to identify many places throughout the world, including where their families come from. They also found something special on the coast of New South Wales, Australia!

Many thanks to ‘Enjoy The Wood’ for making us such a beautiful map. Here’s some info about them

“We are Enjoy The Wood, a family-owned brand you can trust, dedicated to creating top quality wooden accessories and patented customisable world maps. Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People as the first people to live in Australia. We thank the Gadigal People of the Eora Nation for letting us share their land in which we live and learn. Together we want to feel the land, reach out to the sky, feel our heart and promise to look after nature.
