Amber Sherlock Journalist & TV Presenter Visits Ballykin Mosman
At Ballykin Mosman we want to say huge thank you to Amber Sherlock, Australian Journalist, TV presenter and Mosman local for being the guest reader at our National Simultaneous Storytime event!
The National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) forms a key part of our Language and Literacy program at Ballykin, as we foster a love of reading and the importance of pre reading skills in those early years. Our children, families and Educators sat down at exactly 11am (with the rest of Australia) and enjoyed Amber reading the ‘Family Tree’ by Josh Pyke, and Ronojoy Ghosh. Amber was so engaging!
Thanks again Amber Sherlock for coming g to visit and thanks Josh Pyke and Ronojoy Ghosh for creating such a wonderful book!

The National Simultaneous Storytime is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
