The Writing is On The Wall & In the Recycling Bin!

Our Ballykin Early Learning Centres in Rose Bay and Mosman are recycling old pens and markers via TerraCycle Australia’s Writing Instruments Recycling Program. The children their families are invited to drop off any used pens, felt tips, highlighters, markers, correction tapes or fluid pots so we can recycle them as part of the program. Facilitated by TerraCycle and Bic, our Ballykin centres collect and then deliver the old writing instruments to Officeworks for recycling.

About the program

TerraCycle, BIC (of Bic pens fame) and Officeworks have partnered to create a free recycling program for all brands of used writing instruments. This program operates through their Community Collection Hub network. There are over 320 locations, including 170 Officeworks stores currently accepting writing instruments for recycling through this program.
